Sylvie and Lucile Malbrunot are exhibiting their works at the Past’elles exhibition! Step inside the gallery to admire their softness and vibrant colors! Sylvie’s approach: “I seek to capture the diversity of materials and textures in the subjects I explore, and the emotion evoked by a fleeting moment… Nature is always a source of inspiration. Each piece is a challenge and has allowed me to explore a facet of the richness of pastel as a medium…” Lucile’s approach: “Unlike other techniques, my pastel works are not creative but rather contemplative, aiming to draw the viewer’s attention to the richness of colors and the variety of textures that adorn our everyday lives. Many of the paintings in this exhibition were created en plein air, in the traditional way, that is, outdoors, in front of the scene that captivates me… as a result, the emotion is stronger and the rendering more authentic than when looking at a photograph.” Come and discover the works of the Malbrunot sisters and don’t forget to leave a message for the artists in the guestbook!
