Présentation
Gabriel Bonvalot was born in Epagne in 1853, explorer, he traveled through Europe, Asia, Siberia, India and Tibet.
He founded the Duplex committee in 1894, the purpose of which was to make the colonies known and he became mayor of Brienne from 1912 to 1920.

The church, under the name of St. Peter and St. Paul, has evolved according to its time. It bears traces of the construction of the 12th century, a third of the building is from the 14th century, then it was enlarged in the 15th century with a spacious choir and the rest of the building is from the 16th century.
