Présentation

The treasure of the churches of the Forêt d’Orient Regional Natural Park includes goldsmith pieces from the 15th to the 19th centuries, as well as religious sculptures from the 12th to the 18th centuries, which bear witness to the artistic and religious activity in the Aube region. Consisting of chalices, reliquaries, ciboria, processional crosses, sculptures of Virgins and Child, the Virgin in Majesty, saints, etc., most of which are protected as historic monuments, this treasure of the churches is simply extraordinary. Listed as a historic monument, the church of Dienville is a privileged setting for religious objects, which are thus put back into context.
