Présentation
A performance of a historical comedy by the Colaverdey Theatre Company. Synopsis: Ginette, a peaceful retiree who lives with her mentally challenged nephew Lucien (or Lucienne), offers a vacation rental in the countryside. Two city couples have booked: Victoire and Vianney, computer programmers, and Conan and Cosette, teachers. Victoire and Cosette are longtime friends, but Vianney can’t stand the other couple. Conan relentlessly endures Vianney’s hurtful remarks. The two friends hope that the change of scenery in the countryside will bring the two men closer. Everything seems to be in place for a pleasant stay with the owner, Ginette, who is very attentive to their needs. But the countryside isn’t the city, and one must learn to accept its minor inconveniences, like a crowing rooster… And François, Ginette’s rooster, certainly isn’t lacking in vocality. Add to the rooster’s crow a multitude of unexpected events and tensions quickly rise between the two couples. But Ginette is there to ease all the tension… or so it seems!
