The Great Lakes of Champagne Tourist Office welcomes you and provides information at its offices in Brienne-le-Château year-round, and in Soulaines-Dhuys and Dienville during peak season. Soulaines-Dhuys, a charming village nestled in a small valley, offers visitors a remarkable architectural heritage: its magnificent 16th-century church, its half-timbered houses, its tile and pottery works, and many other treasures that bear witness to the village’s long history. Crossed by three streams, one of which originates in a spring in the heart of the village, Soulaines-Dhuys is nicknamed “the Green Venice of the Aube.” At the Soulaines-Dhuys tourist information office, you can: – Enjoy a guided tour of the village to discover its remarkable heritage. These tours, offered by the tourist office, are available year-round by reservation for groups of 10 or more, or every Wednesday in July and August at 2 pm for individuals (allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). These tours also offer a unique opportunity to discover the interior of the Church of Saint-Laurent and the half-timbered Chapel of Saint-Jean, as these buildings are closed to the public outside of organized tours! – Discover the village in a fun way with an audio guide: let a local resident, with a mischievous and slightly gossipy manner, tell you the story of Soulaines-Dhuys! Audio guides can be picked up at the tourist information office and are available year-round starting at €2 per person. The content is translated into French and English. Outside of the tourist information office’s opening hours, you can pick up your audio guides at the France Services center (same location) during their opening hours.
