Exposition “La statuaire de Vendeuvre, un paradis retrouvé”

At the back of the church in Vendeuvre, you’ll find a converted space housing around fifty statues, all from the former Manufacture d’Art Chrétien de Vendeuvre-sur-Barse (1842-1961).

High-quality artists worked the clay to give this factory an international reputation.

Trace the history and expertise of the Sainterie de Vendeuvre through these statues, halfway between art and industry, and discover the richness, diversity and evolution of the industry.

The exhibition is organised by the ArTho association, in partnership with the Département de l’Aube, the Diocese of Troyes, the town of Vendeuvre-sur-Barse and its parish committee.
