Présentation

Owned by the commune of Epothémont, leased and managed by the CPIE since 2002, the pond boasts numerous ecological riches, particularly in odonates and avifauna. Inventories are carried out on the flora and fauna, and awareness-raising activities can be carried out during various events. Since 2021, an educational trail has allowed you to familiarize yourself with the site and the biodiversity it shelters. This trail is accessible to the general public, and also includes an observatory at the end of the path to blend into this environment. You will find various panels explaining the life of the different species living in the pond. The CPIE du Sud-Champagne regularly organizes outings to bring this natural site to life.
