It’s party time in Brienne-le-Château! For July 14th, Brienne en Fête invites you to the town’s wooden market hall for an unforgettable evening. Starting at 8 pm, enjoy a festive atmosphere at the National Day ball, with music by Yannick Champion’s orchestra. Don’t worry if you get peckish: light refreshments will be available on site! As night falls, the traditional fireworks display will be launched from behind the castle. Lanterns can be distributed before the fireworks behind the castle.

Since 1270, as early as the first Counts of Brienne, the existence of the market hall has been mentioned in writing. This building is composed of old wooden pillars that support a vast roof. Around 1760, the Lords of Brienne decided to destroy the surrounding dwellings to facilitate access.
