A la conquête de Brienne-le-Château – Visite commentée
Come and explore the imperial city!
Présentation
Brienne-le-Château is closely linked to the history of France. The city, once called Brienne-Napoléon, is labeled “Imperial City”. It welcomed two emperors, including Napoleon I. In 1814 and 1940, it was ravaged by two terrible fires that considerably changed its appearance. Let yourself be seduced by the city dear to Napoleon’s heart, during a guided tour of 1h30. You will appreciate its listed monuments, the castle, the town hall, the market hall and the former Royal Military School. In this city full of history, you will be surprised to learn that many famous men have passed through Brienne! By reservation in low season and every Friday at 2 p.m. in July and August. Contact the Tourist Office for more information. Accessible from 12 years old. #visitebrienne-le-château
