A la conquête de Brienne-le-Château – Visite commentée
Come and explore the imperial city!

Présentation
Brienne-le-Château is intimately linked to the history of France. The city, once called Brienne-Napoléon, is labeled “Imperial City.” It has hosted two emperors, including Napoleon I. In 1814 and 1940, it was ravaged by two terrible fires that considerably altered its appearance. Let yourself be captivated by the city dear to Napoleon’s heart, during a 1.5-hour guided tour. You will appreciate its listed monuments, the castle, the town hall, the market hall, and the former Royal Military Academy. In this city steeped in history, you will be surprised to learn that many famous men have passed through Brienne! Reservations are required in low season for groups of 10 or more, and every Friday at 2 p.m. in July and August for individuals. Contact the Tourist Office for more information. Accessible from 12 years old. #visitbrienne-le-château
