Gîte du Lac de la Forêt d’Orient

Laëtitia and Bastien are delighted to welcome you to their 6-person gîte. Located opposite the Forêt d’Orient National Nature Reserve and in the heart of the Forêt d’Orient Regional Natural Park, you’ll appreciate the tranquility of this spot and the colors of Lake Temple at any time of day. Ideally situated at Pointe de Charlieu, settle comfortably into one of the living room armchairs and observe the many bird species (common cranes, mute swans, ducks, etc.), deer, and wild boar that roam this reserve. Take a stroll on the terrace at dusk to listen to the stags bellowing in early autumn. Inside, on the lower landing: – A shower room. – One bedroom with a lake view, furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. – Two bedrooms, each with two single beds that can be joined to make a double bed upon request, and each equipped with a wardrobe or chest of drawers. Inside, on the upper landing: – A living/dining room with a lake view. – A fully equipped kitchen. – A toilet. Outside: – A garden. – A terrace with a table and chairs for two. – A garden table and chairs for six. – Sun loungers and deck chairs. – A children’s play area. – A private, enclosed courtyard with three parking spaces. A gate closes off access to the stairs, separating the living area from the bedrooms and preventing falls for young children. Access to the cottage is via stairs.
