The Lesmont’s Festival is back! Save the date, the market hall is going to be rocking! The Lesmont festival is all about conviviality, good cheer, and all generations mingling, all under the banner of music with free concerts and a touch of madness. A multitude of activities are planned: * July 31st: The Compagnie Sang-Mêlés will present the show Novastella, an evening performance outdoors in the Town Hall park. This literary, musical, and visual creation explores humanity’s place in the universe, blending creativity, art, ecology, and philosophy. Registration required – pay what you can. * August 1st: – At 10:00 AM, join Julie Fées des Bois for an introductory walk to discover edible and medicinal wild plants. €15 per person, reservations required at 07 83 84 22 29. – Evening: Saturday evening will kick off with a 1.5-hour concert by Californication, the Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band with four musicians. A dynamic set featuring top-notch musicians. A relaxed and easygoing approach to the audience ensures everyone has a great time. They will be followed by 14-piece band 100 pour sang. This group offers a rich sonic experience: a driving rhythm section, keyboards, guitars, vibrant brass, harmonica, and three backing vocalists true to the spirit of Johnny Hallyday’s greatest concerts. A unique concert of approximately 2.5 hours, with no imitations or caricatures! The evening will conclude with Kipetrovichi (Joli Falzar and co.). Having already set the stage ablaze in 2023, this joyful group of six musicians returns with a new repertoire of wild covers, a unique blend of their own explosive mix. * August 2nd: Dedicated to a friendly atmosphere with the traditional flea market, craft market, and funfair. Entertainment throughout the day will be provided by the Archers of Briennois with an introduction to archery, the ICAVAL association with equestrian vaulting, and the BiMM brass band will return to the streets of Lesmont to get everyone dancing. Finally, activities for children will be organized (mascot parade, wooden games, etc.). Timeless, an amateur rock cover band, will close out the weekend with a concert under the market hall.
