The Natura 2000 site of the Lacs de la Forêt d’Orient offers three types of habitats that support a wide diversity of birds: lakes, forests, and meadows. Accompanied by a specialist, explore these environments and learn to identify the different bird species found there. Spring is the perfect time to learn about bird songs. If you have them, bring binoculars (and a good pair of ears!) to identify the birds you’ll encounter along the walk.
