Exposition “Quand l’art rencontre le patrimoine”
Two artists, two worlds to discover in your tourist office.
10500 Brienne-le-Château

Présentation
Now is the perfect time to discover two complementary artists! Dany Marchandé, who draws and paints on a variety of surfaces, and Jean Arnoult, the renowned model maker! Dany Marchandé studied industrial design before starting his own business. He has been drawing since childhood, but it is since his retirement that he has been able to fully dedicate himself to his passion. For him, perspective is of great importance, a professional habit perhaps! He likes to create works that are as close to reality as possible. Equally skilled with pencils and brushes, he creates on a variety of surfaces: glass, paper, stainless steel sheets, and more. Jean Arnoult is an electrician by trade, but he learned woodworking from his father, who was a carpenter. He found this “occupation” of creating models to pass the time during his retirement. He builds small-scale replicas of the region’s timber-framed buildings; his first creation, the church in his village, was made to help save the church. He has developed a taste for this meticulous work and hasn’t stopped creating, much to our delight! Step inside the Grands Lacs de Champagne Tourist Office to discover these two artists – it’s a true feast for the eyes!
