Come and discover the production workshops of the Tuilerie Poterie Royer, a Living Heritage Company in Soulaines-Dhuys.

During your visit, you’ll learn about the history of the clay heritage in our region and the different techniques used to make pottery.

The visit to the large kiln is an astonishing and mysterious moment when the alchemy of fire transforms the clay, after 9 days of firing, into building products that will last for generations.

A hand-turning demonstration and explanation will be provided.

During the visit, children will be looked after by Katelyn, who will introduce them to the pleasure of using their hands to create with clay.

Our tip! To fully discover the rich heritage of Soulaines-Dhuys, don’t hesitate to precede your visit to the Tuilerie with a guided tour of the village, every Wednesday in July and August at 2pm. A real tour of the village and its history!
