Théâtre : L’Assemblée des Femmes

Présentation

To kick off the new year, the Atelier Théâtre Blaise et Der association presents its new play ‘L’Assemblée des Femmes’. A play by Robert Merle, based on Aristophanes, and directed by Nicole Pertat.

In this play, the Athenian women want to take power away from the dominant men, because of the numerous conflicts between their husbands and the rival city. So they devise a ruse at an assembly on the Agora, using seduction to calm their husbands.
