Exposition “Pierres et portraits”
At the Grands Lacs de Champagne Tourist Office, come and discover the worlds of Jean-Louis Aparicio and Rémi Contant

Présentation
Jean-Louis Aparicio and Rémi Contant have joined forces to offer us a poetic exhibition! Cross the threshold of the tourist office to admire the works of each of the two artists. Jean-Louis Aparicio, from Fouchères, takes us on a journey through his portraits of breathtaking beauty and realism! He began by painting local landscapes in acrylic and oil, then learned to work with watercolors and moved towards portraiture. His travels led him to encounters that he wanted to immortalize through the portraits he invites us to discover. Rémi Contant has always had a penchant for stone. Even as a child, he had pockets full of pebbles! He loved discovering fossils and, after a stay in Guédelon, he discovered the stonemason trade and trained. Very interested in science in general and mathematics in particular, he can create objects related to the Middle Ages, utensils that can be used every day or more abstract objects, with more geometric inspirations…
