Présentation

Step through the doors of the Grands Lacs de Champagne Tourist Office to discover the works of Claudie Dhulst and Aude Fourrier.

One is a painter, the other a mosaicist. They combine their artistic worlds for our greatest pleasure!

For Claudie Dhulst, expressing, creating, showing what she cannot always say, feeling a sense of profound well-being, sometimes requires her to return to her work again and again, abandoning it only to better resume it in another state of mind. Painting has always seemed to her to be a natural act linked to her daily life. Insomnia often leads her to small watercolors that relax her. The diversity of our seasons and landscapes fills her with the desire to capture the essence of these moments of mysterious brightness, shadows and reflections, vibrant colors or inspiring mists. However, she likes to leave to the observer, the pleasure of wandering in front of a canvas, of walking according to his own feelings, his own experience.

As for Aude Fourrier, Break, order, place, move, compose, stick, in order to give form and movement to the fragments of tesserae, rhythm to the colors and vibration to the light; break to build a harmony; destroy to rebuild and give life by following a path made of silence, her path. Aude Fourrier invented what she called the intuitive mosaic® Through her mosaics she tries to simultaneously bring together the immensity of the universe and the smallness of our being by creating a dialogue between the invisible and the visible, between appearance and essence, between the real and the spiritual and invites introspection and reflection on the relationship between the microcosm and the macrocosm but where everyone sees what they want to see.
