The Napoleon Museum invites you to delve back into the history of Waterloo at its upcoming lecture. This lecture will take you, like the Eagle, on a soaring flight over the battles of Quatre Bras and Ligny before swooping down on the plain of Waterloo. Accompanied by 3,200 lead figurines displayed on a 13m² battlefield, Dominique Vinot will recount the French defeat. Drawing on firsthand accounts from those crucial days, you will see how a series of errors and misunderstandings led to the failure of Napoleon’s meticulously planned strategy and how each individual contributed to its downfall.
